In 1909, Continental Bank and Trust Company (later known as West One Bank) began operating in Salt Lake City at 200 South Main Street. It was not until 1989 that the bank changed its name to West One Bank and moved to 107 South Main Street. In the 1990s, it was renamed U.S. Bank of Utah and, later, was acquired by the United States National Bank of Oregon before it closed in 2007.

West One Bank in Salt Lake City was originally named the Continental Bank and Trust Company, and was located at 200 South Main Street from 1909 until 1989 when it moved to 107 South Main Street. In 1989, the Continental Bank and Trust Company changed its name to the West One Bank and remained so until 1996 when the bank changed its name to the U.S. Bank of Utah. In 1997, the bank was acquired by the United States National Bank of Oregon. The bank was closed in 2007.
