Heber Light & Power has been operating in Heber Valley for over 100 years.  Its first plant, the Heber Municipal Plant, began operating in 1909.  Since then, Heber Light & Power has grown to include three hydroelectric generators and three natural gas power plants.

Heber Light & Power (HL&P) began operating its first hydroelectric plant in 1909.  Over time, HL&P expanded its operations to include the current total of three hydroelectric plants and three natural gas plants.  These plants include the Upper Snake Creek Plant (opened in 1949) and the Lake Creek Hydro (opened in 1981).
