Big Cottonwood Canyon is home to Silver Lake. Have you ever been to the Wasatch Mountains? The canyon makes for a scenic drive, and there are plenty of recreational activities for you to enjoy. Another beautiful place to visit is Red Butte Garden. It is also a great place in Salt Lake City to visit year round. Reviewers say that there is something for everyone. Red Butte Garden is located at 300 South Wakara Way, and another point of interest there is the rose garden, which people say is gorgeous.

Located at 77 West 130 South, Smith’s Ballpark is a place to watch Triple A baseball. You’re going to be watching the Bees play, and they are a Mets farm team. Wheeler Historic Farm is a working farm, and it is located at 6351 South 900 East. People say that kids love the place and all the animals. The farm is available as a venue for weddings, too. You are allowed to go up to the animals, and you can even watch a blacksmith do his thing. Be sure you check out the Farmer’s Market while you’re there, and reviews mention that you can tour the house, too.
The Tracy Aviary is another great Salt Lake City attraction. There are 130+ exhibits at this aviary located at 589 East 1300 South. The Tracy Aviary is the oldest of its kind in the entire country. See all kinds of birds while you are there, and be sure you catch the show. What’s great about a visit to this aviary, too, is that you are right by City Park, which is another top attraction in SLC UT.
